I was recently interviewed by RXSpeed about our design and styling process of Ken Block’s Honnicorn Mustang RTR which was built in conjunction with Vaughn Gittin Jr’s Mustang RTR brand and AutoSport Dynamics (ASD).

Formula Drift Maestro, Vaughn Gittin Jr has recently published a detailed build story of Ken Block’s ‘Hoonicorn’ Mustang RTR on Speedhunters.
I was originally contracted by Vaughn to design the look of this all-out extreme 65 Mustang back in 2012. At each stage, the art was reviewed by Vaughn, Ian Stewart of ASD (the car builder) and Ken.
The team required something a little more bad-ass, aggressive and more Mad-Max which ensured I left my comfort zone! The final design is very close to my original concepts.

A fun project to work on which shows the diversity from the Scion Tuner Challenge Scion FR-S and the Mustang RTR-X. Taking bookings for SEMA 2015! 😉

Gymkhana Seven, the latest video by Ken Block is now live and features the 850hp AWD Mustang RTR ‘Hoonicorn’ which I styled for Keith via Vaughn Gittin Jr’s ‘RTR’ brand.
I originally trained as a car designer and in later years designed, bodykits and styling modifications for various racecars and show-cars such as the Mustang RTR-X and the Need for Speed Edition Mustang GT500 SuperSnake.
I seem to have a connection with the Mustang as my latest little project, in association with Road and Track Magazine was a Ford Mustang GTE race car concept.
The new shape Mustang has lost some of the aggression of previous generations and has ended up a more generic machine, possibly due to its Global release, so this concept (and its just that) is more menacing and based loosely off the GT350 which is currently testing at the Nurburgring with Camouflage.
