Starting with the Rolex 24, IMSA will print a ‘Race Viewing Guide’ booklet available at the circuit as per 2014.

Online, we will be reverting back to the traditional 11×17 Poster Style Guide for you to download which should make things easier! The online guide will be released on spotterguides.com and imsa.com on 19th or 20th January and will be updated during the week as new drivers are announced.

What if? Ford Mustang GT350 GTE race car

I originally trained as a car designer and in later years designed, bodykits and styling modifications for various racecars and show-cars such as the Mustang RTR-X and the Need for Speed Edition Mustang GT500 SuperSnake.

I seem to have a connection with the Mustang as my latest little project, in association with Road and Track Magazine was a Ford Mustang GTE race car concept.

The new shape Mustang has lost some of the aggression of previous generations and has ended up a more generic machine, possibly due to its Global release, so this concept (and its just that) is more menacing and based loosely off the GT350 which is currently testing at the Nurburgring with Camouflage.

TUDOR United SportsCar Championship Spotter Guide comissioned by IMSA

It is with great pleasure I can announce an agreement with IMSA to produce Spotter Guide art for the TUDOR United Sportscar Championship and the feeder IMSA Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge throughout 2014!

The guides will be included in a special fan guide which IMSA will be producing. This will be available online and also at the track.

The first guide for the Rolex24 is already in production with over 100cars to produce, 68 TUDOR and the leading 40 Continental cars. Teams have been contacted and liveries are now coming in. In addition I have created a number of liveries for teams this year. It is great to be continue the IMSA connection with the Spotter Guide series after six years producing the official American Le Mans Spotter Guides.

I will be at the ROAR Test in early January if any teams want to discuss their appearance in the new Spotter Guides.

Au revoir ALMS (+ wallpaper download)

I was recently commissioned to produce a 15th Anniversary graphic showcasing all the American Le Mans Champions by Delta Wing Racing Cars. The graphic was in the style of my ‘Spotter Guide’ series and included Audi, HPD, Lola and Panoz Championship winning cars.

I was approached by legendary team boss, David Price, who I had created liveries for in the 1990’s for various McLaren F1 GTR and the first Panoz GTR-1. I had to draw some of the early chassis up from scratch including the Panoz LMP-1. Luckily Photographer, John Brooks came to the rescue with some great reference shots. DeltaWing Racing Cars Manager Partner Dr. Don Panoz founded the ALMS in 1998 and built it into one of the premier sports car racing series in the world. The series came to an end this past weekend and will merge with GRAND-AM to form the Tudor United SportsCar Championship in 2014.
